Description
We are working with a QIS Structuring team who are looking to hire into their London business at VP to Director level. They are looking for a candidate with extensive experience pricing a range of derivative products on varied equity and fund linked underlyings. The role will focus on designing a range of sophisticated payoffs and structures for the QIS business.
We are working on an exciting opportunity for a payoff focused structurer to move into the QIS (Quantitative Investment Strategies) Space. Whereas traditional QIS Structuring can have a significant element of quantitative research, this is not the case with this position and would suit a VP/Director level Equity Derivative Structurer. The role will be focused on designing new exotic payoffs and tailoring existing structures to specific clients. Whilst, in time, a knowledge of indices will be necessary to factor in all aspects in the product design, there is no QIS experience needed to be considered for this role. Rather, they are looking for someone with 5 years' plus working in exotic or fund derivative structuring. QIS is an area that has consistently shown excellent career advancement compared to other areas of the market and this is a great opportunity to make the transition.
Requirements
- Strong experience (5 year's +) in payoff structuring at a top tier derivative house
- Excellent Academic experience in highly quantitative subject such as Maths, Probability, Financial Engineering etc
- Experience with QIS products is not required but would be a plus
- Knowledge and experience with a wide range of equity and fund linked underlyings
If you would prefer to speak to someone before submitting a CV please send a blank application to the role and someone will be in touch to discuss. We can only respond to highly qualified candidates.
